Guelph Youth Dance Company (ages 10-18)
The Guelph Youth Dance Company is an exciting opportunity for contemporary dancers from 10-18 years of age (levels 1 and 2). The Company offers rigorous training, a variety of repertoire, a compelling array of guest teachers and partnerships with other arts organizations. Past partnerships have included performances with Dancetheatre David Earle, The Suzuki School, Carousel Dance Centre (Waterloo), AfroCulture and the Guelph Health Conference.

Spring audtions were held on May 10, 2010.

Details to know
- The GYD Company rehearses on Mondays 4:30-6:00 pm September-December and January-May. The GYD Company performs approximately 7 times during this time period throughout the Guelph, K/W area in various theatres/settings. If accepted in the GYD Company for next year’s season GYD Company members would be required to:
- Attend every company rehearsal
- Attend every performance (times tba)
- Train regularly at the GYDTP in modern technique and composition (see the GYDTP schedule for details)
- Audition results will be announced through phone correspondence one week following the audition date.
