Please join us at the River Run Centre for an evening of dance featuring Guelph Youth Dance Companies’, Guelph Youth Dance Hip Hop Crew and with special Guest performances from Dust and Soul Dance Company and Rhapsody Dance Projects. You will see the versatility and wonder of our student dancers ages 8-17 in a variety of dance styles sharing the stage with post secondary dancers, emerging dance artists and established dancers. 

This evening of dance features original work by Emmett Bradshaw, Jose Carret, Ella Cumberland-Clark, Leslie Fisher, Evadne Kelly, Kaela Willey, Meredith Woodley and Tara Butler. An event not to be missed!

Winter Danceworks Technical Rehearsals Schedule

The Winter Danceworks technical rehearsals are an essential part of the performance process. All dancers must attend their scheduled technical rehearsal in order to perform in the show. These rehearsals allow dancers to practice on stage with lighting, spacing, and transitions in the theatre.

Technical Rehearsal Guidelines

• Dancers are required to attend their assigned technical rehearsal to participate in the performance.
• Technical rehearsals follow the same order as the show.
• Please arrive at your arrival call time and enter through the River Run backstage entrance.
• Call time is 15 minutes prior to being on stage, so please be on time — not late and not too early.
• Dancers are welcome (and encouraged) to remain in the theatre during technical rehearsals to watch the other pieces in the program.
• Dancers who leave after their technical rehearsal must sign out when leaving and sign back in upon return.
• All dancers must be back in the theatre for their scheduled arrival time for any additional rehearsals and for the bow rehearsal call time.
• There is no intermission during the performance; therefore, dancers will not be permitted to watch the show.

Performance Drop-off & Pick-up Information

Please review the following procedures carefully to ensure a smooth and safe performance experience for all dancers:

• Dancers should be dropped off at the River Run backstage entrance at their assigned call time.
• Once the performance has started, dancers cannot leave early.
• Following the performance, dancers will meet their parents or guardians in the theatre main lobby for pick-up.
• Sign-out is not required at pick-up.
