Registering for our dance classes is simple and secure through DanceStudioPro, a trusted platform for managing your dance education. Create an account in the Portal to view class fees, descriptions, and schedules all in one place. Please note that class prices vary based on the length of the class and the number of classes per session, which can change due to holidays.
Multi-Class Discounts
Maximize your savings by registering for multiple classes! Our discount structure is as follows:
- 3 Classes: 5% off
- 4 Classes: 10% off
- 5 Classes: 15% off
- 6 Classes: 20% off
- 7 Classes: 25% off
Discounts apply per child and do not apply to single class registrations.
Payment Plans
We offer flexible payment options with three-month and seven-month installment plans. Please note that registration for these plans must be completed manually by our office and cannot be processed through the Portal. Installments are due on the 1st of each month, and there are no additional fees for this option. Please ensure timely payments without reminders.
Refund Policy
- Registration Fees: Non-refundable.
- Class Refunds: If you start a session, a $20 drop-in fee will be charged for each 45-60 minute class attended, which will be deducted from any refund request. Refunds are not available after 4 weeks into a session.
- Summer Intensive Refunds: For illness or unforeseen circumstances, written notice of cancellation must be received at least three weeks prior to the intensive to qualify for a full refund, minus a $50 administration fee. Refunds requested within three weeks of the intensive will incur a $150 administration fee. If your dancer becomes ill before the camp starts and provides a doctor’s note, the fee will be waived. Please note that once camp begins, missed days cannot be refunded or made up.
Missed or Make-Up Classes
To arrange a make-up class for any missed sessions, please email the studio. Dancers can attend a class on a different day or take a class one level lower, space permitting. Each dancer may make up a maximum of three classes per term.
Studio Closing/Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather a decision will be made by 1:00 p.m. regarding the status on classes for that evening or 8am for morning classes. Please do the following:
- Check our website at guelphyouthdance.ca
- Check your email – we will send out a studio-wide message
- Keep in mind that we will not always match school cancellations. Many times the weather clears up later in the day, so we may still have classes even though school was closed or buses were cancelled (or vice versa).

Please note that when classes are canceled due to events outside of our control, such as severe weather or natural disasters, we do not issue refunds. Dancers are welcome to make up any missed classes by choosing another class within their age range any time during the season they are enrolled in. Please see our class schedule on our website and email catrina@guelphyouthdance.ca to schedule your make up.
