Following a balanced conditioning warm-up, funky combinations full of traveling steps, kicks, spins and isolations make this class both challenging and fun! This class is for any adults wanting to give Jazz dance a try. No experience necessary.
Ballet Basics
New class starting this January! Discover the fundamentals of classical ballet in a warm and welcoming studio environment. This class introduces foundational techniques through preparatory exercises at the barre and builds toward graceful, flowing movements in the center. Ballet Basics offers a thoughtful approach to softening, stretching, strengthening, and coordinating your body, while exploring elegant sequences that are as enjoyable to learn as they are to perform. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to reconnect with the beauty of ballet.
Contemporary Technique
Rooted in classical ballet vocabulary with a strong emphasis on torso articulation and expression, the contemporary technique classes encourage alignment, form, coordination, musicality, strength, rhythm and kinetic intelligence. Contemporary Technique classes have live percussion. Intermediate level. Beginners are welcome!
Our Adult Dance classes are geared to adults who want to be physical, creative, meet new people and learn new skills.
No special skills required, you just need to be brave enough to sign up!
Classes are offered by Full Year (30 weeks) , Fall (13 weeks), Winter/Spring sessions (17 weeks), Winter (9 weeks) and Spring (8 weeks).
