Contemporary Dance Training with Live Percussion

Guelph Youth Dance offers contemporary dance classes in Guelph for children, teens and adults. Our contemporary training combines technical development with improvisation, composition, musicality and creative exploration. Classes are organized by age and experience, with opportunities for dancers to develop strength, coordination, and confidence. All contemporary dance classes are accompanied by live percussion, elevating the dancers’ experience while deepening their musicality, creativity and artistry.

All company dancers are required to take a contemporary class. Dancers are placed in levels based on age. In some cases a dancer may be placed in a class lower or higher depending on level of experience.  For classes for the 3-5 year old, please visit Creative Dance.

Classes are offered by Full Year, Fall and Winter/Spring sessions. Please choose the age range your child will be on December 31st.
