• October 3-9: Bring a Friend Week
• October 9: Winter/Spring registration opens
• October 10 – 12: Studio closed for Thanksgiving
• Saturday October 24: GYD Fundraiser night
• Saturday October 31: Halloween, Halloween Fun at Dance class!

November 2026

• November 14: Fall DanceWorks at Old Quebec Street Mall for Company and Crew members.
  No Crew class, all other classes running as regular
• November 27: Youth Dance Social, 6-8 pm

December 2026

• December 5: Last day of regular Fall Term classes
• December 7 – 12: Open House days for all classes
• December 11: Adult Class Show and Share and Social
• December 12: Young Company performance with the GYO at the River Run Centre
• December 13 – January 3: Studio closed for Winter Holiday

January 2027

• January 4: First day of Winter/Spring Term
• January 29: Youth Dance Social, 6-8 pm

February 2027

• February 13– 15: Closed for Family Day
• February 12: Spring Term, Spring Fling and Summer Intensive registration opens
• February 17, 7:00 PM: Winter Danceworks — Dance Companies & Hip Hop Crew performance, River Run Centre.
  No regular classes on this day
• February 25-28: GYD Company tour to Ottawa

March 2027

• March 15-20: Closed for March Break
• March 21: Dance Exchange with Young Company and Apprentice Company members
• March 22: Spring Session starts (March 22-May 15 )
• March 26-29: Closed for Easter

April 2027

• April 8th at noon: Tickets on Sale for the 2027 Spring Show

May 2027

• May 10– 15: Winter/Spring In-Studio Open Houses (ages 3–5)
• May 15: last day of regular classes for ages 6 and up
• May 17: Extra show rehearsal day for companies
• May 18 and/or 19: Spring Shows (ages 6+), River Run Centre
• May 21: 2027–2028 Schedule posted on the website
• May 24: Company and Crew Auditions

June 2027

• June 1: Announcement of the 2027-2028 companies
• June 1-5: Pre-registration for accepted Company & Crew members (to secure spots in mandatory classes)
• June 7 – 19: June Dance Pass — 2-week trial pass. Take unlimited classes during the trial period
• June 6: Registration opens for current 2026–2027 families
• June 13: Registration opens for new families
• June 28 – July 2: Summer Intensives (For all Company members)

July 2027

• July 4: Fall session-only registration (for remaining spots)
• July 5-9: Contemporary Intensive and Hip Hop half day intensive
