GYD is excited to host our annual Company Dance Exchange this year. Apprentice I, II and Young Company dancers have the opportunity to learn, create and dance with peers from Carousel Dance from Kitchener.  This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, be inspired and share our passion for dance!

When: Sunday, March 23, 2025
Where: Guelph Youth Dance Studios
Time: 12:15-4:15pm
Cost: Free for Apprentice I, II and Young Company members.

We ask that all dancers arrive at 12:15 at GYD studios to welcome the dancers from Carousel Dance. We will then divide into groups for contemporary technique, creative process and composition workshops. We will wrap up with an informal showing of works in progress from 3:30- 4:15. Please note that this will be for the dancers only.

Please note that due to the number of dancers involved (68!) we will be using Guelph Youth dance studios and the lovely space at Knox Church- our neighbours just a few doors to the left of GYD studios. Please don’t forget to bring nut free snacks, and a water bottle. We will be dancing barefoot and with socks!
